If approved, E Power is also committed to providing a community benefit fund equivalent to £5,000 per megawatt of installed capacity per year. Based on an assumed installed capacity of 55.2MW, this will result in an annual value of approximately £276,000 per year. With a 35-year lifespan, this will provide approximately £9.66 million in community benefit.

E Power are also exploring a more direct benefit to properties that are closest to the wind farm. It is proposed that an annual contribution to those living closest to the wind farm would receive a direct payment to offset against their electricity costs.
