Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Kellas Drum Wind Farm has submitted to Energy Consents Unit

Kellas Drum Ltd. has submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment Report under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 to the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit (ECU) seeking consent for the Kellas Drum Wind Farm. This application also applies for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and County Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 for planning permission for the development to be granted.
The consultation period for the planning permission commences on Tuesday 26 March 2024 and will run until Tuesday 7 May 2024. Any persons wishing to make a formal representation should do so by contacting the ECU on their website, by email or by post, quoting the application reference number ECU00005054. We also continue to welcome comments and feedback on our proposals at any stage of the application, although please note these will not count as formal representations. Kellas Drum Wind Farm proposals put out to public consultation

The Proposed Kellas Drum Wind Farm and associated infrastructure (including battery storage) located near Dallas, Moray, is being put out to public consultation.
Consultation about the proposal will include public exhibitions taking place near the site. The date, time and location for the second event is as follows;
- The Houldsworth Institute Community Hall, Dallas, IV36 2SA
- 1st February – 3-6pm
The project team will be on hand to discuss the proposal and answer any questions. Pre-application comments and queries can also be shared with the team by way of a feedback form on the day of the event or by completing the questionnaire in the Community page of the website. Alternative ways of providing feedback are also set out in the Community page.
